About Us

All property owners within Bonita Hills are members of the Homeowners' Association. Each year, members of the association meet to elect a Board of Directors. The Board meets quarterly or as needed to manage the affairs of the association. Homeowners are welcome to attend any meeting with advance notification to the Board. In addition to the Board, we all play an important role in the Bonita Hills community through volunteer work or committee assignments. Our committees include the Architectural Committee, Beautification Committee, Landscaping Committee, and Master Plan Committee. Other committees may be established from time to time. All members of the Board and the committees serve as unpaid volunteers. Committee members are always needed and welcome. If you are interested in serving, please contact a Board member.

Beautification Committee

This committee oversees the common area landscaping which includes plants around the entrance signs, perimeter berms, and common areas. The committee works with the Architectural Review Committee to help review proposed landscaping changes by homeowners. The committee also serves as a liaison with our landscape maintenance contractor to assure that the care of our common areas is done properly. The committee also is actively involved in the selection and placement of flowers, shrubs, and trees in the common areas.

Landscaping Committee

This committee oversees the sprinklers and watering in all common areas, and works with the Beautification Committee to assure that the trees, shrubs, and flowers fit with the water schedule and sprinkler design.

Master Plan Committee

This committee was established in 2009 to assist in the planning and implementation of new ideas for the neighborhood.
